The Great Repression
I have been watching this Korean soap called "Kim Sam Soon". Jeng introduced me to this genre with "Full House" as my intial piece. At first, I did have reservations because of the subtitles. Imagine 16 episodes of having to read. Hehe.
When I started watching, though, I realized that it wasn't that bad. One, gotta admit that the Korean dudes have a certain cuteness to them. Two, unlike the Filipino telenovelas where it has been a year and the darn diary containing all the"secrets" has not been found yet, Korean soap plots thicken almost instantly. Thus, before I know it, I am hooked and popping in the next episode.
On episode 6 of Kim Sam Soon, there's this one line which made me laugh and made me think:
"A cup of coffee is 5 kilocalories, which is equivalent to 5 minutes of kissing".
I have been drinking a lot of coffee lately... but, unfortunately, I haven't been putting the calories into good use. It's been a while. Hahaha.
Hmmm. Someday (hopefully) soon.
